Saint Clare Council was founded
the 28th of February 2001 through the efforts of Ed Tweed and Father Colin
Macdonald. It is named after Saint Clare, who was the Foundress of the order
of nuns know as "Poor Clares".The Saint Clare order was founded
with the assistances of Saint Frances of Assisi. The Saint Clare Council
works closely with the Saint Clare Parish in the City of Roseville, providing
funds for various projects within the city and parish.
