If the term BPL doesn't mean anything to you, you're most likely not going to be interested in the rest of this page and those under it. Well, the FCC acted, Part 15 was amended to make BPL a Carrier Current System (CCS) using HF frequencies, and a very small number of trials are underway. I don't mean to downplay or disregard the interference, particularly if you happen to be in a trial area. However, about as many trials have been abandoned as have newly started, and it does not look like wholesale deployment of BPL is likely to occur any time soon I recently did some checking and noticed that many of the links in the original BPL Information Exchange page were broken, particularly links to files and comments on the FCC site. Since there is currently no pending actions, I decided to archive the BPL page. It is still accessible here however please be aware that the links to many of the off-site pages may not be good anymore.
