Setting up Dialup in Windows Millenium Edition

1. Open the Start Menu, go to Settings, and click Dial-up Networking.
2. Double-click the Make New Connection icon.
3. Enter Foothill.net under "Type a name for the computer you are dialing," and click Next.
4. Enter your dialup number. (To find a local dialup number, go to our numbers page.)
5. Click Next.
6. Click Finish.
7. Right-click the new Foothill.net icon, and click Properties.
8. On the Networking tab, make sure only "Enable Software Compression" and "TCP/IP" are checked.
9. Click OK.
10. Right click the Foothill.net icon again, and click Create Shortcut. Click Yes in the box that appears.
