Setting up Dialup in Windows 95/98

  1. Double-click My Computer.
  2. Double-click Dial-Up Networking.
  3. Double-click Make New Connection.
  4. Enter Foothill.net under "Type a name for the computer you are dialing," and click Next.
  5. Enter your dialup number. (To find a local dialup number, go to our numbers page.)
  6. Click Next.
  7. Click Finish.
  8. Right-click the new Foothill.net icon, and click Properties.
  9. On the Server Types tab, make sure only "Enable Software Compression" and "TCP/IP" are checked.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Right click Foothill.net and click "Create Shortcut". Click Yes in the box that appears.
