Setting Up Email in Mozilla Thunderbird
- Start Thunderbird
- Go to the Tools menu, and click Account Settings.
- Click "Add Account..."
- Select "Email Account" and click Next.
- Enter your name and email address, and click Next.
- Select "POP" as the type of incoming mail server.
- Enter pop.foothill.net for the incoming server, and (if necessary) smtp.foothill.net for the outgoing mail server.
- If you want this account's email to go into its own inbox, uncheck "Use Global Inbox". Click Next.
- Enter your Foothill.net username, and Click Next.
- Enter a name for your account ("Personal," your name, etc.,) or leave it as it is (your email address,) and click Next.
- Verify all the information on the last page, and click Finish
