Setting Up Email in Microsoft Outlook 97

1. Start Outlook.
2. From the Outlook Tools menu, choose Services...
3. Select the Services tab.
4. If Internet Mail appears in the list of services:
   1. Highlight Internet Mail.
   2. Click the Properties button.
   3. Go to step 8.
   If Internet Mail does not appear, continue with step 5.
5. Click the Add... button.
6. In the Add Service to Profile window, highlight Internet Mail.
7. Click OK.
8. In the Internet Mail window, select the General tab.
9. Enter your email address and full name under Personal Information.
10. For "Internet Mail server", enter pop.foothill.net.
11. For Account name, enter your username (note that this is all lowercase.)
12. For Password, enter your email password (also case-sensitive.)
13. Select the Connection tab.
14. Under "Connecting to Internet Mail", choose "connect using the modem".
15. For "Dial using the following connection", select Foothill.Net for your connection.
16. Click OK.
17. If you have added the Internet Mail service, you will be prompted to restart Outlook. Click OK.
18. Click OK to close the Services window.
19. Quit and restart Outlook if necessary.
