Setting Up Newsgroups in Netscape 7.2

To set up your news account:

1. Start Netscape.
2. Go to the Window menu, and click Mail & Newgroups.
3. Go to the Edit menu, and click Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.
4. Click "Add Account..."
5. Select "Newsgroup account" and click Next.
6. Enter your name and email address, and click Next.
7. Under "Newsgroup Server:", enter nntp2.foothill.net and click Next twice.
8. Verify that all information on the last page is correct, and click Finish.

To subscribe to a newsgroup:

1. Right-click "nntp2.foothill.net" in the folder list, and click "Subscribe..."
2. Once the list of newgroups appears, click the newsgroup you would like to subscribe to, and click "Subscribe".
3. When you are subscribed to all desired newsgroups, click OK.
