Students will be able to explore the tent town of Dry Diggings, a Nisenan roundhouse, which will become a permanent structure at the Fairgrounds, and the Traveler's Rest, in the Bernhard Museum.

Docents in period costumes will take on the roles of early local residents, telling tales of their lives and times — Native Americans, miners, merchants and settlers.
