FTA Runners

The Foresthill Divide ain't no Flat Runners place. Well, actually there are a couple of short runs that are fairly flat, but the divide is a trail running paradise for those who like variety (hills). One trip down California St. (part of the Western States trail) and you'll never want to run pavement again.

We have a very active group of runners who are out on the trails, running and doing maintenance, as often as possible. All of the ultra runners from Foresthill (at least the ones who have run in the Way Too Cool the past few years) are FTA members. Most of the runners also ride horses, mountain bikes and/or cross-country ski, so being part of a multi-use trail group is convenient.
