Welcome to our web site.
The Foresthill Divide, located about 60 miles from Sacramento, CA, USA offers a beautiful, extensive, multi-use trail system that provides recreational opportunities to residents and travelers alike - from hiking, biking and running to horseback riding and cross-country skiing.

The Foresthill Trails Alliance, Inc. (FTA) is a non profit community organization whose purpose is to preserve, maintain and develop multi-use trails on the Foresthill Divide and to work in conjunction with other groups that promote and preserve multi-use trails throughout California and the United States.

The FTA works
- to promote and encourage close working relationships between trails organizations
- to encourage landowners to allow multi-use trails to pass through their property
- to promote legislation to permanently preserve and protect established and new trails
- to work together with federal, state and local agencies to assist with the maintenance of trails and to promote the establishment of new trails.
You can look at our By Laws to find out more about how we are organized.

Please bring trail news or concerns to our attention. If you have any comments, questions or suggestions please contact any of the people listed below. We care deeply about the future of the trail system on the Foresthill Divide and welcome your participation. The Foresthill Trails Alliance meets at the Pizza Factory, Main St., in Foresthill. During the meetings new projects, trail concerns and various trail related topics are discussed. We welcome all trail enthusiasts.
