NCSA (National Center for Supercomputing Applications) Beginner's Guide to HTML
A very thorough guide to most aspects of webdesign. Set up as a step by step tutorial.

Annabella's HTML Help
User friendly site that presents various topics in design by topic. Clear concise description with examples of each topic.

Teresa's Guide to Learning HTML
Clean, concise, no frills explanations of page design. Easy to navigate, good quick reference.

HTML 101
Good reference pages on html tags and other functions in your webpages. Includes HTML 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, and 106. Tag examples in table format make good reference page.
