Setting up Microsoft Outlook 98
- Start Microsoft Outlook
- On the top of your screen click on tools.
- Then click on accounts.
- Click Add then email.
- In "Your Name" type in your real name in the space
provided.
- Click Next
- Under Internet Email address type in your full email address
(ie. username@foothill.net).
- Click Next
- Under Email Server names make sure that POP3 is selected.
- Under incoming type in foothill.net and outgoing enter
smtp.foothill.net,
and then click next
- Under Internet mail login, type in your username (without the @foothill.net),
and password
- Click Next
- Choose a friend name for your account, (ex. Jon Doe Jr's email), it
can be anything you like.
- Click Next
- Under Choose a Connection Type click on I will connect to the
internet manually.
- Click Next
- Click on Finish.
