Netscape 3.0

Easy Setup.

This page contains several large graphics - please be patient as they load.

To setup mail in netscape:

Go to Options & "Mail and News Preference's

The Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:  smtp.foothill.net   All Lower Case

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server:   foothill.net  All Lower Case

POP3 User Name:  The user name you chose.

News (NNTP) Server: nntp.foothill.net    All Lower Case

Now,  Click On Identity:

From here, fill in the information:

Your Name: Whatever you choose to put - this identifies you in your emails

Your E-mail: username@foothill.net

Reply-to Address: username@foothill.net

Your organization:  This field can be left blank if you choose.   It is meant for placing any clubs or affiliations you are a part of.

To make Foothill.net  your start page.

Go to Options & "General Preferences"

Now, where it says "Browser Starts With"  Be sure Home Page Location is dotted & just below in the text box

Type in  http://www.foothill.net/    Be sure this is all lower case.

Click OK & then foothill.net will come up when you begin Netscape & also when you click the HOME.
