Basic Leader Training for
all Adult Leaders

You are invited to Basic
Leader Training, BLT! Who should
attend? All registered Adult Scout
Leaders who want to have a quality-scouting program for Boys. This in conjunction with the Fast Start
training qualifies leaders to wear the Trained Leader
Emblem.
Training Session, Dates,
Times & Locations:
April 11, 2002, Thursday, LDS Chapel, 615 Hollow Way, Nevada City or Maidu High School, 3775 Richardson Dr., Auburn 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Bring: Note pad, pencil, scout spirit, & wear uniform. This training session is geared for all Adult Leaders & interested adults and is a prerequisite for the specific training below. This training section needs to be completed only once by all adult leaders.

complete; 1.Faststart, 2.Essentials, 3.Leader Specific Training for your
position.
Cub Scout Leader breakouts (Cubmaster, Den Leader, Tiger Den Leader, Webelos Den Leader & Committee Member) and Youth Protection. Bring: Note pad, pencil, Cub Scout Leader Handbooks, wear uniform, sack lunch, snack to share & scout spirit. Training geared for all Cub Scout Leaders & interested adults.
This is a two-session course, one-day classroom session and a Friday eve and Saturday weekend outdoor session.

Venture Leader Specific Training
This training is designed to introduce adult Venturing crew
leaders to the basic information needed to operate a crew. Bring: Note pad, pencil, Venture Crew
Leader Handbooks, sack lunch, snack to share, scout spirit, & wear uniform.
All Venture Crew Adult Leaders are welcome and encouraged to attend the Outdoor
Leader Skills course described above. Your Training will finish at
Varsity Leader Specific Training
This session is tailored to
meet the needs of the LDS Varsity Team Leader. Training will assist the adult
leadership to teach and develop leadership skills in their youth. Bring: Note pad, pencil, Varsity Team
Leader Handbooks, sack lunch, snack to share, scout spirit, snack to share &
wear uniform. All Varsity Team Adult Leaders are welcome and encouraged to
attend the Outdoor Leader Skills course as described above. Your training will
